Wow what a busy first week back we have had!
This week our year 6’s and Ella have been so busy rehearsing for their Shakespeare show tonight. They have done such an amazing job and have been so professional throughout. This week we went down to the Northern stage to rehearse our show on the big stage for the first time and they made us so proud.
On Tuesday our Year 6’s then went out to visit their new school, Sir Charles Parsons. They were really mature and were so eager to meet their new friends and staff for September. They went to visit many different classrooms, had a play outside and even saw some of their old Hadrian friends which was so lovely.
On Thursday we had the most amazing morning down at Nunsmoore fair. We managed to go on all the rides we wanted to and were all so brave and tried new things. As we have been learning about safer strangers in school, it was nice for us to be able to identify safe strangers in an out of school setting and find out more about their job role and how they can protect us if we are lost or in trouble.
We cannot wait to show you all our Shakespeare performance next week and we hope you have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend and stay safe.
