This week we started off with celebrating Valentine’s Day. All of us made cards for each other and had a little party. We danced to some lovely music, played games, and shared all our feelings about the Special day.

We also worked very hard in Maths trying to read time to the nearest hour and half past and some of them to the nearest quarter. In Science we looked at the features of the Moon and did an activity to see how craters are formed on the surface of the moon. The children enjoyed role playing Neil Armstrong, the first Astronaut to land on the Moon. In English we wrote some facts on Valentine’s Day and did good reading too. In PE we worked in teams and played a game of football.

Today was a special assembly to say farewell to Ann and Rob as it was their last day in school. We sang and danced to some of our favourite songs and watched some lovely performance from some of the children in the other classes. It was an emotional farewell and some of our children were in tears to say bye to Rob. This afternoon the children have enjoyed their choice time and are looking forward to the half term break.

Hope you all have a lovely break.
