This week was activity week for Leon, Billy and Shay. The boys will be moving on to Sir Charles Parsons in September, so we have made their second last week one to remember!

For our first trip this week we went to Cragside. We enjoyed lunch on the picnic benches, had a leisurely walk through the scenery and had lots of good fun in the sun at the adventure park.

On Tuesday, We went to see The Lego Movie 2 at Tyneside cinemas. On arrival we each got a drink and popcorn, and then settled into our own private hire cinema! The film really caught our attention with lots of singing, giggles and action. Billy in particular, laughed the whole way through. For lunch we went to Laus 202 buffet, where we each got to expand our taste buds and try something new.

On Wednesday we went to find out all the wonders of South Shields! With a stroll through the park, sand castle building on the beach, wild rides in the amusements and of course fish and chips by the sea! We really did have the full seaside experience.

Thursday, Diggerland! We all loved it! We each got to operate our own miniature JCB, enjoy lots of rides and use the go karts to see who could do 3 laps the fastest, well done Leon! Champion! Shay wasn’t the greatest fan of the rides, but he loved to watch and even requested more when the rides stopped. Shay did however, love the safari experience! So much we had to go again! We then all had lunch in the café, and a play in soft play.

Friday, a classic treat to end them all. Who doesn’t love pizza and bowling?! We had a fantastic time and engaged really well during bowling, we were so excited when it was our turn and even tried to bowl without the guide stand.  We were very patient while we waited, clapping and cheering for our friends while waiting. Lots of fun was had by all.
