Well, what a lovely ‘last week before half term’ we’ve had here in Dave’s class! We’ve had an action packed time this week with non-stop fun and exploration, with plenty of time for play too!

Our highlight this week has without a doubt been the end of half term party that we got invited to by our friends in Loveday’s class! It was a sensory dream with plenty of flashing lights and different textures for us to explore. All of the attendees had the best time getting to interact with their peer group again and we all loved getting the chance to get our bubble machine and light-up speaker out!

In class this week we’ve focused a lot on keeping moving and staying active, despite the unusually stormy weather we’ve faced. We’ve gotten outside to run around and play as much as possible; although we did take shelter from the weather on occasion and snuggled down under a blanket or two on one of the more particularly blustery day! Aside from outside play, our whole class got to keep fit in our weekly jabadao session and we all enjoyed a morning of fun in our soft play. Some of our class members also got to take part in hydro and rebound sessions, which are always well loved!

I think our whole class is looking forward to a full week off to relax and recharge our batteries after our busy little week!

We hope everyone has a brilliant half term, and we can’t wait to see everyone after the break – Dave & team 🙂
