Hi everyone,
What a great day we had at Hall Hill Farm on Monday. The children were all engaged and the whole day was interactive. We had a fab time bonding with our friends in Nadia’s class and we were shown around by a wonderful Elf. They taught the children all about the farm, the different animals and how important it is to wash their hands.
We started the day with an interactive session with lots of guinea pigs and rabbits. The children were so brave stroking them and holding them on their knees.
We then moved onto the goats, sheep and some silly donkeys. The children all attempted to feed them and they were all eager to stroke all the different animals. There was even a ‘cow’ to milk! We have some true farmers!
During an arts and crafts session, the children created a lovely reindeer from an acorn. It was then time to visit Santa! They all received a gift and met Santa, there was a talking reindeer and a sleigh to ride in.
As the children had worked so hard on the farm, it was decided that they deserved some lunch and a run around in soft play. We were then driven back to the car park, past some grazing sheep and horses, in a tractor! This was such a wonderful day and it was great to see the children so happy and confident with animals.
A huge congratulations to all the children for their wonderful Christmas performance, they are just so amazing and talented! Thank you for sending in their great Christmas jumpers.
