It has been an absolutely busy week for all the children in our class with lots of different activities and special visits!
We celebrated “Recycling Week” by reading a lovely story on how recycling is very important to save our environment and how we can recycle different materials.
On Tuesday this week we went to Sir Charles Parsons for our first swimming lesson. It was an amazing experience splashing in the big pool. The children were very excited and are looking forward to our next session.
This week we also had the opportunity to cast our vote for the Head Boy, Head Girl and the School Council. The election was a great success with all children writing their lovely speech and casting their votes in the ballot.
In Food technology we made some delicious flapjacks and played a game of bingo. In English we have been sharing and writing about our feelings. In maths some of us have been practising with the tens frame and some of us have been working on the inequality symbols.
Last but not the least we had a great afternoon dancing to some beautiful music from the Columbian Band and completing our Frida Kahlo Portraits.
