We’ve had a superb week in class spending time with our friends.

We had a great sensory music session exploring the different sounds and textures of musical instruments. We loved making the many different sounds, seeing how the instruments felt and moved as we made them.

We had a great Autumn sensory session. We explored the different feelings and textures of lots of autumn items including leaves, pumpkins, water and jelly to name but a few. We loved how they made different sounds and how they looked as we were moving them around with our hands, feet and bodies.

To celebrate Harvest we looked at how we celebrate harvest in the UK and made some bread buns to taste. We added flour, baking soda, lemon and milk. They tasted delicious and we had great fun making them and of course spreading the ingredients around the classroom. What a superb sensory session!
