Welcome back we hope you all had a lovely half term break. We have loved reading your journals to find out what you all got up to over the holiday and it sounds like you’ve all had the best time with your friends and families.
We have had a fabulous first week back at school and yesterday we enjoyed a fabulous world book day. We started the morning off with a fabulous Zumba to stories such as Room on a Broom and The Gruffalo, acting out the various shapes of the characters getting our bodies working and moving! We then had a trip around our fabulous book trail which some of our staff have kindly put up around school. We are very much looking forward to being able to sit out in the sun and read our fabulous books when the weather gets slightly warmer. We also enjoyed some fabulous Aladdin themed arts and crafts, creating our very own fly carpet and magic lanterns.
Yesterday afternoon we all came together as a school to celebrate World Book day having stories told to us by ‘The Masked Storyteller’, we all shouted “get it off” once we had guessed who we thought the storyteller might be. We all loved getting involved in this and we were all out of our seats having lots of fun. We then had a cat walk down the aisle to show off all our fabulous outfits and I’m sure you will all agree Class 5 had THE best outfits of the day!
As well as all this excitement we have of course carried on with our usual therapies and timetabled lessons.
