This week has flown off so quickly and its Friday already!

All through the week we have worked hard completing our literacy and numeracy tasks. However the most amazing lesson was during food technology when Katy from Fun little Foodies taught our children to make some bread and butter. The children learnt how to measure and mix the correct ingredients, they rolled and kneaded the dough and put it on the baking tray.

The children were able to relate this lesson to our science session on where does food come from. They knew that the flour to make the bread comes from the grains and the milk comes from the cow. We also looked at a sorting activity trying to separate food that we get straight from the farm and food that needs to go through a process before we can eat them.

To add to the excitement, Charlie had his 11th birthday party and our other Charlie received a medal and a certificate for being a Half Term Achiever. What a great week indeed.
