Newcastle families!
The Family Advice and Support Team have been working hard behind the scenes with the Holiday Activity Fund team (HAF) and we have now arranged the below activities which will be free to families over the summer. The session are aimed at children 4-18 who would struggle to access the mainstream HAF activities (and their families). Please contact the centres directly on the phone numbers and emails provided to book a slot.
Places are limited but there will be a waiting list for slots too so if you do have a slot and can’t make it then please let the centre know so another family can make use of the session.
Well well well… what a wonderful year it has been! We cannot believe how fast it has gone and how much fun we have all had. We are so incredibly proud of all the children and how much they have matured into wonderful young adults this year.
We have had so many fun memories this year together and lots of fun trips. We have made some lovely friends , and will cherish their friendship forever. Please remember that once part of our Hadrian Family, always a part of Hadrian Family and please please please know you are all welcome back to visit any time.

This week in Antonia’s class we have been so busy getting ready for the end of year and finishing off work! There is so much to do in the last few weeks of term but we are happy to say ‘It’s done!’ and next week we can all relax and have a last week of fun with the children. Our class is splitting up in September so we wanted to spend as much time as possible together having a great time next week. We have some amazing activities planned to do as a class group. We are nearly at the end of the year and hope the sun will come back out for our last week together!
This week we were lucky enough to take part in the school carnival on Tuesday. As you know in previous weeks the children have made banners and masks and on Tuesday they paraded around carnival style with these to a fabulous steel band. There was music and dancing and everyone had an amazing time. With that and all our finishing work off we barely had time to make some delicious banana muffins! But we managed. Just!

We had a fantastic busy day in the hair shop on Tuesday.
We made it a special treat with snacks and sweets for our year 6 children who are moving to their new schools in September. Most of these children have been regulars since the hair shop began, it has been lovely to watch them grow and mature. They will be a big miss at Hadrian, but we wish them lots of luck in their next chapter!
We had some new children in the salon this term who all really enjoyed the experience.
They were treat to manicures, pedicures, a soak in the foot spa, hand and foot massages as well as a haircut.
We also got very creative with the ‘Girls World Heads’ and each others hair which was great fun.
