Hi everyone, happy Friday! What a quick seven weeks that was, we can’t believe that this is the end of Autumn 1 already!

This half term has been amazing; we feel so lucky that we’ve got to spend these weeks working alongside a really special group of children and seeing them come out of their shells. We’ve already seen some incredible progress, which in seven short weeks is almost unheard of, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings.

This week we’ve been exploring all of the best things about Autumn! On Tuesday morning we went on an exploration walk of the school grounds to collect fallen autumnal objects, and then once they had dried out over dinner time we got to paint them! We all loved rolling the conkers we found in the paint trays to make tracks, and pressing the leaves we collected onto paper to make leaf prints!

We hope everyone has a lovely break; spend the week having plenty of fun and enjoying the best of October weather, and we’ll see you back in class on the 31st for a spooky day of Halloween fun! – Dave and team 🙂
