Well what a first week back, talk about returning with a bang!

Monday set the tone for our week of fun as of course it was Halloween! We loved getting to see all of our class incredible costumes and seeing their faces light up at our spookily decorated classroom! The adults did an amazing job (if we do say so ourselves!) and we all thoroughly enjoyed getting stuck in to some creepy sensory play and exploring all of the different stations. We were all treated to a wonderful Halloween themed dinner and then got to get our groove on at the school-wide Halloween disco, huge thanks to Mark and his team for making it an afternoon to remember!

Today we’ve celebrating Bonfire night a day early, and have spent afternoon enjoying our very own Hadrian School bonfire and firework display which we were all enthralled by. The fireworks were so loud and shot up so fast that we couldn’t take our eyes off them! As part of our Bonfire night celebrations we’ve all made our very own firework cards this week, which have come home with us in our bags and we hope you love them.

On top of all of this off-timetable fun and excitement, we’ve had a jam-packed week of our usual, timetabled enjoyment too! We’ve gotten all of our excess energy expelled by swimming in the hydro-pool, bouncing around in the rebound center and exploring the adventure playground, and have been showcasing our artistic talents in both painting and model making with our new art topic of boxes!

After all this excitement we hope everyone has a restful weekend, although with Bonfire tonight tomorrow we know this may not be the case! We hope everyone has fun and stays safe in their celebrations, and we already can’t wait to see our class on Monday for another week of fun! – Dave and team 🙂
